Rapid Hosting Guide: Create a RedM Server using a Windows VPS
Welcome to Rapid Hosting! Here's a detailed step-by-step guide to assist you in setting up your RedM / VORP Framework Server.
Before we begin, it is best that you understand how to Port Forward and open up a new or use an existing open port to create your server.
Step 1: Download Your Foundation
FXStarter - https://runtime.fivem.net/artifacts/fivem/build_server_windows/master/ (Only Artifact 9169 or Above)
Step 2: Create a New Folder
Create a new folder on your desktop, and name it something like "RedM Server" or your game server's name. It is best that you do not place your folder in bad areas such as the following;
The file paths we are going to use may be the same (Desktop), or different, but make sure your file path does not contain spaces.
BAD - C:\Users\John Doe\Desktop\My RedM Server123
GOOD - C:\Desktop\RedMServer
Step 3: Copy the Downloaded Content into your New Folder
Move all of the downloaded content, from the FXServer Artifact Files into your newly created folder.
Proceed with running the "FXServer.exe", this will prompt you with the txAdmin Recipe Deployer.
Following this, you can now proceed with the RedM VoRP Framework Guide
https://help.rapidhosting.cloud/en/article/how-to-install-vorp-core-using-txadmin-redm-1qr1tj7/ (Step 4 to Step 12)
Step 4: Create your database using XAMPP and HeidiSQL

Step 5: Enter your database details from HeidiSQL into txAdmin
As we assume you're following along, and have stopped on Step 12 of the VORP Framework Installation Guide, you should be on the txAdmin Advanced Setting Tab where you can enter your database information. From here, your default IP should be 127.0.0.1, and your port should be 3306. Your username should be root, and your password is not set to anything by default.
If the information has been entered correctly, you can now proceed in txAdmin by pressing the highlighted green button under this menu.
Step 6: Finish Configuring txAdmin then Launch
After you're done setting up txAdmin with VORP Framework for RedM, you can now launch your server and proceed to add and modify as you wish.
